On September 19-20, 2011, Pedagogical University TWP is organizing a seminar about education and higher education in the framework of the Eastern Partnership programme.
The aim of the seminar is to establish contacts and start working on projects that would contribute to fundraising for scholarships and courses for students from Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, and other countries.
The organizers intend to prepare for the summit of the EU and partner countries, and to raise above-mentioned subject among media and post-secondary education communities.
The seminar is split into two days. The formal part is addressed to politicians and embassies’ representatives, and the informal one – to non-governmental organizations.
Prior to the seminar, a contest for an essay under the title ‘Values of Europe: my future studies in the EU’ is planned, aimed at young people (18-23) from Eastern Europe countries. Its winner will be invited to the seminar as a special guest.
The seminar is under the media patronage of Eastbook.eu
